UCR Investment Sales Closes on Sale of Two Properties4.24.2012- UCR Press Release
UCR Investment Sales today announced the sale of two retail shopping center properties.
Starbucks & Verizon Shops is a 10,417 square foot shopping center located at the southwest quadrant of Custer Road and Eldorado Parkway in Frisco, Texas. Tenants in the center include Starbucks, Verizon, The UPS Store and Allstate. The property received 11 offers and ultimately sold to a Plano based investor.
“The interesting aspect of the marketing process was that the buyer pool was over 90% local, with 10 of 11 offers from investors within the DFW Metroplex,” said Tommy Tucker of UCR Investment Sales, who marketed and sold the property exclusively on behalf of an undisclosed seller.
Canyon Creek is a 13,956 square foot shopping center located along Loop 1604, just east of Blanco Road, in San Antonio, Texas. The property is 100 percent leased with tenants including Navy Federal Credit Union, Scottrade, The Strand Salon, Hometown Flooring, Cigar Warehouse, and Delice Chocolate. Canyon Creek benefits from strong demographics and is in a tight retail submarket with over 1,000,000 square feet of retail in one quarter mile. Nearby retailers include Super Target, H-E-B, Lowe’s, Office Depot, Chase, and Starbucks.
